General information

Check-in to Terminal 2 on the ground floor, before going through security on the upper floor. From there waiting travellers can explore a range of shops including the latest high-street brands, for all of those last-minute travel buys.

The Arrivals area also has snack and coffee amenities as well as several small shops.

Check-in at Terminal 2 is on the upper level. Recommended check-in times are:

International - 3 hours
European - 2 hours
Domestic - 90 minute

Self service check-in is available at Manchester Airport. The self service kiosks let you to check-in to your flight and print your own boarding card so you can avoid the queues. Simply follow the instructions to print off your boarding pass, then follow to signs to drop your bags at the bag drop desks.

Arrivals is located on the lower level.

Moving between terminals

- To move between Terminals 1 and 2 use the moving walkway along the Skylink. This will take around 15 minutes.

- To move between Terminals 1 and 3 use external walkway which takes 5 minutes.

Facilities at terminal 2

You will find an excellent range of shops located in Terminal 2. These include popular high street shops Dixons and Boots. Duty Free prices are available at most of the shops at Terminal 2. While people in search of a a good holiday book will find what they they want in WH Smith. Terminal 2 has the widest range of the shops of all the terminal, including the only Monsoon, Dorothy Perkins and la Senza stores as well as a Hamleys for children.

Hungry? No worries. You will find lots to choose from including Burger King, Frankie and Bennies and Cafe Nero.
